Shaela Wallen PCLC
Adolecent, Adult and Couples Therapist
Shaela graduated from Montana State University-Northern with degrees in Clinical and School Counseling. She joined Sweetgrass as an intern in 2023 and has stayed on as a licensure candidate. Shaela meets with clients at our Whitefish location.
Shaela is passionate about supporting children, adults, and couples as they navigate relationships and life’s challenges. She uses a relational therapy approach, believing that healing happens within the context of connection—with others and within oneself. Combining this perspective with parts work, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Shaela helps clients explore and heal the various "parts" of themselves that shape their thoughts and behaviors.
With a trauma-informed approach, Shaela provides a safe and supportive environment where clients can process past experiences, build trust, and feel empowered in their healing journey. Whether helping children express emotions or adults address complex trauma, she is committed to fostering emotional resilience, self-compassion, and deeper relationships. Shaela strives to help clients reconnect with their authentic selves and create meaningful, lasting change.
