David Eliason, LCPC
Adolecent, Individual and Family Therapist
David is a licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 15 years of experience across various mental and behavioral health settings. He primarily works with adolescents, adults, and families seeking support with anxiety, depression and low mood, life changes, grief and loss, self-esteem and identity, PTSD, and much more.
David uses a client-centered, evidence-based approach tailored to each individual he works with. Together, he and his clients navigate success and sorrow, humor and worry, insight and uncertainty, all the complex, inherent experiences of being human. Clients can expect to find it safe to explore all of it with him.
Therapy with David feels inviting, approachable, and free of judgment. He strives to join each conversation with genuine curiosity and a firm commitment to helping clients strengthen their own internal and external resources in order to more successfully navigate life's greatest challenges. Through compassionate and honest conversation, David helps clients better understand the patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior that contribute to discomfort or dysfunction, and discover new and old ways to change these patterns in service of a more contented and satisfied life experience.
In his free time, you'll find David with his family exploring all the amazing outdoor spaces this beautiful valley has to offer.
David sees clients in both Whitefish and Columbia Falls and accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Medicaid, and other insurances.
