Colleen Davis-Timms earned her Master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Greely and served rural communities in Colorado for many years, largely in the field of addictions.

Colleen joined Sweetgrass in 2020 as a licensed professional counselor and licensed addictions counselor. She is warm and empathic and builds trust with her clients through her consistency and trustworthiness. Clients will find her easy to talk to as well as non-judgmental. Colleen tends to be goal-oriented and works well with individuals who need just the right amount of nudge on their path to identifying and changing their maladaptive behaviors. Colleen utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).  

Colleen works with individual adolescents and adults as well as couples. She specializes in those who have a trauma history as well as those with addictions struggles. Colleen practices in our Columbia Falls location and remotely via telehealth.
