Alexis joined Sweetgrass Psychological Services in pursuit of her licensure in Social Work, which she has recently received. She graduated from University of Chicago with her Master’s in Social Work.

Clients who work with Alexis have the experience of being felt, seen, and understood. Alexis uses her super power of understanding to help her clients feel seen, heard, and accepted. Alexis creates a safe environment for her clients to explore the depths of their experience. While she works hard to create a space for clients to feel comfortable, she also believes that therapeutic journeys inevitably include discomfort as we move beyond our unhealthy ways of being. Within the space of growth, Alexis will be there, supportive, non-judgmental, and very easy to talk to.

Alexis specializes in life transitions and grief. Clients who are going through changes in their lives and would like someone to help illuminate the path will find Alexis to be a caring and compassionate guide. Individuals who have experienced loss, of any kind, will find the empathy and understanding that they are seeking in Alexis.
